Who We Are

We are a Hindu-Buddhist association based in the UK, committed to promoting unity, cultural understanding, and well-being within our community. Rooted in compassion and tradition, we strive to support those in need by providing essential resources and opportunities for personal growth. Our charity is dedicated to nourishing not only the body but also the spirit by supplying food locally and offering enriching programs that celebrate our cultural heritage.

Swarnalata’s family ""This dream of adopting cattle rearing was put in my heart after I attended the World Vision training. Both my husband and I work together to care for our cattle farm. We decided to go for a subsidised loan and further invest in our new business by buying three cows. It has become a family activity. This was all possible because of World Vision. My life story would not be a success story if World Vision weren’t in it. They have given meaning to our lives. We don’t have to do laborious work in the field for less money or search for a job away from home. We don’t relay on labour work for our income anymore. Dairy farming has become our main source of income. It has strengthened our finances. We have a comfortable living. Drought or no drought, it has no effect on our family. Cattle rearing has made our family whole again and brought us closer together. For us it is important to invest in our daughters’ future. This was all possible because of World Vision. My life story would not be a success story if World Vision weren’t in it. They have given meaning to our lives. Now I feel I can be a good caretaker of my children like my father. I can provide for their needs like my father did for me when I was growing up. Our hope, as parents, is that the children should pursue their higher education and look for better prospects and opportunities, but still continue this dairy farming business,"" says Swarnalata.

What We Do

Our Hindu-Buddhist Association in the UK is dedicated to supporting our community through essential services and cultural programs. We provide nutritious food to those in need, ensuring access to vital resources. Through our cultural film project, we preserve and share the stories, values, and wisdom of our traditions, fostering greater cultural awareness. We empower the next generation by offering kids' cultural lessons that help children stay connected to their heritage. Additionally, we support holistic well-being through various therapies that promote mental, emotional, and physical health, enriching lives and building a stronger, more compassionate community.

What Sets Us Apart from Other Charities

We go beyond providing essential support by integrating cultural heritage into everything we do. While offering food assistance to those in need, we also strengthen community bonds through cultural lessons, film projects, and holistic therapies. Our approach nurtures both well-being and a deep connection to tradition.
